To: info-hams@ucsd.edu Hi, I have had a passing interest in getting my license for many years. I have now decided to look into it and get the license, when I was much younger you had to learn code, it it still a requirement? Also, I'm interested in getting a rating that would allow me to talk over a band on a handheld that I could carry into the mountains. What are your suggestions. If needed, what's the best and fastest way to learn code? please reply via email... -- o_/ _/| ___/_\__ ' Cowabunga, dude...... shopson@netcom.com Scott Hopson Costa Mesa, Ca. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Jun 1994 03:33:03 GMT From: ihnp4.ucsd.edu!agate!howland.reston.ans.net!EU.net!relay.puug.pt!news.inesc.pt!animal.inescn.pt!ciup2.ncc.up.pt!news.ci.ua.pt!jluis@network.ucsd.edu Subject: Fax number 4 KeenWood C.
